Mro. Silvio Zammit and Ramona Zammit Formosa (piano) will be giving a lunchtime concert on Friday 16 May 2014 at 12.30pm.  Mro. Silvio Zammit is a brilliant flautist with over 25 years of experience in flute performance and teaching.  Together with his piano accompanist, Ramona Zammit Formosa, he will be performing an excellent repertoire of flute music.

The eclectic programme of the lunchtime concert to be held at the Oratory of St. Francis Church in Republic Street, Valletta, will include sparkling and vivacious music by Haydn, Mozarts Marcia Turco, and effervescent music by Rossini, Rota and the Maltese composer Carmelo Pace.

The baroque Oratory, which hosts the performances, is an exquisite venue which complements the fine music.  The events are also fund raising events for the Franciscan Church.
